News Roundup 19 October 2011
After weeks of no news, or non news, there are quite a few things going on this week:
- Attack the Block is to be remade or have a sequel. They aren’t too sure.
- Susan Sarrandon was dissed after calling the Pope a Nazi.
- The Hangover 2’s script was potentially stolen from some guy. I thought it was supposed to be a rip-off the first film anyway?
- Mel Gibson and Robert Downey Jr. are best buds apparently. And no, Robert, we should not forget Gibson for being a twat. Ever.
- Hugh Jackman, whose mother lives in Norwich, didn’t want to be Bond James Bond but might feel like it now?
- Darth Vader is the villainest of all villains.
- Finally a film that does not desecrate every scientific principle... Which reminded me of this excellent bit on 2012 by Dara O'Briain. "The electrons are angry!" Haha :)
