News Round-up 25 September 2012

Waow, it has been a while.
Between crazy busy work, my birthday and more crazy busy work, there was hardly time to post.
A few things I picked up recently:
- The UK DVD (and BluRay) for The Avengers has no extras. Sucks.
- Keanu Reeves is a Samourai in a reinvented Japanese legend. Or something. Keanu be the new Tom Cruise?
- French “Intouchables” (aka Untouchables) is to be submitted as France’s foreign Oscar selection. I can’t say it’s a bad choice.
- New Robocop costume is lame. Apparently.
- Trainspotting remade for the theatre... in the US. A genuine WTF here.
- Red Dawn remade with North Koreans as the baddies + Stuart Heritage’s take on the trailer = Giggles

In older news:
- Daniel Craig = James Bond for at least another couple of films. Can’t say this is bad news.
- Avatar 4??????????? Seriously?
- Disney challenges UK film company over 'misleading' DVDs. Made me laugh too.
- Ryan Gosling will direct his first film. Should be interesting.
- Something soooo wrong I can’t even want to think about it. Shia LaBeouf. Yuck.
