What the French really think about The Artist - BBC

I've just read this article (title above) on the BBC website.
I haven't seen The Artist yet, but I can't say I disagree with the following statement: "For a start, there is the obvious fact that by virtue of being silent The Artist at one fell swoop overcomes the biggest single hurdle to selling French films abroad; they are in French." (This works for any other language, I believe)
I guess that's one less film that will have to be remade for the US market.
