Look Out! Here comes the Spiderman!

I think my brain switched out at some point as I registered there was a new Spiderman in the making - with Andrew Garfield as Spiderman/Peter Parker but I really zapped out who would direct it.
Anyhow, it feels like they are announcing new cast every day.
