The Reader/The Reader/Le Liseur

It's Easter Monday, and I am watching The Reader because there is nothing like soft porn on a bank holiday afternoon.

Checking up a few things about the film, I came across something interesting: the French title is, surprisingly "The Reader". But in Quebec, they have translated the title to Le Liseur, which is perfectly accurate, but gives away something that the original title doesn't: that the reader is a bloke.

I am a bit disappointed now as I thought that the title referred to lovely Kate.

Now back to watching the film :)

(Yeah, I have a bit of a soft spot for the Winslet...)
