The Other Boleyn Girl/Deux soeurs pour un roi

(Two Sisters for a King)

The Other Boleyn Girl is, in a nutshell, the story of Henry VIII and Mary and Ann Boleyn, one becoming his mistress and the other one his wife.

It is adapted from a novel, which was criticised for its lack of historical accuracy.
It's not bad if you like costume drama, especially because of the main 3 pretty actors (none of which are British, and Eric Bana was said to be too good looking to play the king), as the dialogues are a bit naff, really.
The original title is telling you "Hey, you know about Ann Boleyn, right, she was Henry VIII's wife... but did you know there was ANOTHER girl with the same surname? It happened to be Ann's sister... Fascinating, isn't it?"

The French title is just telling you that the king will have 2 sisters. It is not specified if it will be at the same time.
Having said that, I wonder if many French know who Ann Boleyn is, so literal translation might have been lost on the general public.

Maybe they thought that implying it was some threesome business was a better move?
