- Irvin Kershner, who directed The Empire Strikes back, passed away too.
- Mark Ruffalo was added to a terrorist watchlist over a documentary. What??
- Nothing like a bit of racism on a set to give a film more publicity, not that the Hobbit needs it anyway.
