News Round-Up 27 June 2015
I think summer has finally arrived in the UK, but I will have to have that confirmed somehow.
In the news:
Have a good week end, everyone!
In the news:
- As always, bad news first: Patrick Mcnee has died. I had a real fondness for the Avengers, possibly because it was fantastic, possibly because it was one of the first series I could watch with subtitles, and not dubbed. And you know how I feel about dubbing.
- My lovely Kenneth in an interview
- Cinema mix up might have caused some kids to be scarred for life…
- New Oxford English Dictionary entries!
- Made me giggle: films that should not be shown in school.
- Channing Tatum sure didn’t like making G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra. For reference, I did not think the film was any good. The sequel was not any better.
- A new Spider-Man has been named! It’s not Andrew Garfield :(
- Park ChanWook will adapt Fingersmith in South Korea. Obviously I can’t wait to see what it’s like. I am still unsure if I liked Stoker, but it definitely was worth a watch, if only for Matthew Goode.
- Indiana Jones is, apparently, the greatest film character of all times.
- The Blind Side ruined its inspiration’s career. I have to admit I still haven’t seen this. Yawn.
- A second Maleficent film? That could work!
- Ghostbusters 3! I am getting rather excited about this :)
- The trailer for the new South Park game is, unsurprisingly, wonderful. As I currently am watching all 18 seasons again, this fills me with joy.
