News Round-up 13 June 2015
I had yet another of these long meetings this past week.
I was in Basel, in Switzerland, which people describe usually as boring. It is a bit, but it’s also pretty.
In the news:
- Let’s get the sad news out first, with the passing of Christopher Lee. And why he was so awesome.
- A reflection on supermarket “offers”
- Should Hollywood be afraid of Netflix? I’d say if they start making films of the same quality as Daredevil, yes, they probably should.
- Talking about Netflix, has anyone watched Sense8?
- Is Jurassic World sexist? I guess I’ll let you know tomorrow, as I am seeing it later today.
- Chris Hemsworth in the new Ghostbusters film as a receptionist? So long as he speaks with his Australian accent, I’m in!
- Speaking to several people in English is hard.
- If you’re after something to play this week end, here is a list of the “25 Best Adventure Games Ever Made”
- A new Torchlight game on mobile. I really like Torchlight, both games were a lot of fun.
- What I like the most about the Witcher 3 is the abundance of free DLCs that keep coming our way. The latest one, about a pig village, seems particularly bonkers.
That's all for now!
